We talk about the team’s encouraging comeback from a 3-1 series deficit to bid Knighty Night to the plucky but stupid team from Vegas and what to expect from the matchup with another team with 1 good line and a hot goalie. The #sjsharks are Jekyll and Hyde this year — that’s nothing new. In game 1 of the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs, the team were very good (and lucky) and in game 2 they were the opposite. When we say lucky, we’re not just talking about bounces, but also getting totally jobbed on a phantom interference call that ended up being a 2-goal swing, of course. But we’re not bitter. Nothing to do, though, but go out and play a better game in Vegas, though, so no ref call can be the difference in the game.

It’s our playoff predictions podcast! Yeah, the #sjsharks have one more regular season game, but who cares? The matchup is set and it’s time for Pete DuhBoer to accelerate head on into a 40-car pileup (i.e. to get out-coached at every turn by Gerard Gallant while VGK players ignore Micheal Haley’s desperate attempts at relevancy).
But hey, Vegas kinda sucks right now, so maybe we’ll still be podcasting for a few weeks. Go Sharks!
