Peter DeBoer and his coaching staff failed at filling out a lineup card this week and it was still one of the more successful weeks the Sharks have had offensively this year. Let that sink in. Mikkel Boedker scored 4 goals (including a hat trick). The San Jose Sharks had 5 and 6 goal games. And then, in the second half of a back to back, we saw the team we’d grown used to this year. With Dylan DeMelo now out for 8 weeks, it will be interesting to see how the defensive depth is rolled out from game to game, but one thing looks certain: Tim Heed can play an NHL-caliber game. Let’s hope we see more of that in the four games to come this week. Go Sharks!
